This former convent has been lovingly converted into a stylish boutique hotel boasting magnificent views of Alnwick Castle. The prize also features dinner with a bottle of house wine at the hotel’s bistro, where renowned chef Mick Holland creates simple dishes from locally sourced ingredients. Free entry to the Alnwick Garden is included too. This idyllic location for a summer’s day offers attractions such as a beautiful cherry orchard, spellbinding water features and Europe’s largest wooden treehouse.

The winner will be the first entry drawn at random from all entries received by midday on the closing date. The prize is open to readers of Director aged 18 or over and resident in the UK, except for employees of the Institute of Directors and SevenC3, contributors to Director magazine and its supplements, and employees of the Cookie JarThe prize must be taken within one year from the date of publication excluding public holidays. Dinner is available Friday and Saturday. Dinner will be substituted by champagne afternoon tea if the stay is booked outside of these days. Prize is subject to availability and is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. One entry per person. Transfers to and from Alnmouth railway station are included.
