Walk to work week

Walk to work week

For execs eager to test their new fitness band (see our reviews), this month presents the perfect opportunity, with Walk to Work Week taking place 11-15 May. Apparently, exchanging a wearisome commute for walking has the same effect as finding new love, while brisk walking reduces heart-disease risk by 9.3 per cent and helps you sleep easier and lose weight (30 minutes’ should shed 99 calories from a 60kg person). Reason enough for sedentary execs to don their trainers.
