Exporting boost for British SMEs

Exporting Enterprise Nation trade missions

Small UK companies ‘daunted’ by the prospect of exporting will get a boost from early March thanks to Enterprise Nation’s SME-tailored global trade missions

To quote George Osborne at the IoD’s 2014 Annual Convention, many SMEs are still “daunted” by the idea of exporting.

But now hesitant firms could get a welcome leg-up via a deal between small-business network Enterprise Nation and KPMG, which will run five SME global trade missions, starting in Ireland on 10 March.

With some SMEs feeling UKTI missions tend to favour larger companies, Enterprise Nation’s sorties are a welcome extra option.
