Earth Hour 2016 – will your company’s lights be switched off?

Earth Hour 2016

Earth Hour, the WWF’s initiative to highlight the impact of power usage on climate change, will see domestic and business premises switch off their lights at 8.30pm…

Eco-minded businesses should be aware of the WWF’s 10th annual Earth Hour. At 8.30pm today, homes, businesses and landmarks will be plunged into darkness for one hour to highlight climate change in what must be the world’s largest demonstration. Last year, 172 countries took part, including 10.4 million people in the UK. With this year’s hour falling on a Saturday night, it may be wise to set your company’s timers to ensure a switch-off at 8.30pm to avoid eco-embarrassment.
