Director takes a look at Sales Mind, the latest offering from Helen Kensett, offering 48 tools, tips and psychological insights to help you step up your selling…
There’s no shortage of mindfulness material out there, with the latest addition to the pile, Sales Mind (out now), aiming to show how inner peace and confidence can improve your sales technique. While it’s handsomely illustrated – there’s even a “mind-strengthening” colouring-in mandala – the oodles of guides to “de-chunking” and “detoxing” the brain could prove befuddling in themselves to the already info-overloaded. Kensett’s “48 Tools to Help You Sell” are stronger when she moves on from the self-help rhetoric to more tangible tips, such as identifying a buyer’s psychology and crafting killer email pitches.
What the publisher says…
- become more focused, and develop a more mindful approach
- gather crucial knowledge about your buyer, market and what you’re selling
- identify and communicate clearly the key aspects of your pitch
- up your creativity, generate the best ideas and close the deal.
