Susanna Dinnage, executive vice-president and managing director of Discovery Networks UK and Ireland, and Bella Vuillermoz, director of Women in Leadership at Sky, will talk about the role of women in the media at a conference at 116 Pall Mall on 13 November
The Women in Business event will see the pair discuss the media’s role in promoting gender equality and the challenges they have faced in their rise to the top. Journalist and conference host Juliet Morris will hold a Q&A session to garner their views on the issue.
Dinnage has extensive experience working in television. Before taking up her role at Discovery Networks she was part of the launch team for Channel 5 and 5USA as well as several MTV and VH1 channels. Vuillermoz is focused on creating a gender balance at senior levels within Sky. Her previous roles include working for the broadcaster’s sustainability team and as Sky’s head of corporate and financial communications.
The pair will join an impressive line-up of speakers, including England World Cup rugby winner Maggie Alphonsi, Viv Dykstra, the founder of mentoring organisation The Artemis Network, and Lara Morgan, founder of Company Shortcuts.
Women in Business takes place from 9.30am to 5pm and the ticket price of £300 (plus VAT) for members includes a drinks reception, lunch and an Eve Lom gift worth £60.
