“Because we have speakers and panellists from such a variety of sectors – from sport to health via politics, retail, manufacturing and exploration, to name but a few – the convention promises to take attendees out of their milieus, and offer fresh perspectives from an eclectic group of notable achievers from different fields,” says Walker. “Given the theme – “Taking Business Beyond Boundaries” – this breadth and depth of expertise and outlook is key to the day’s appeal.”

Annual Convention – EU debate

The convention will feature a special debate between two distinguished statesmen at either end of the EU referendum debate, former business secretary Peter Mandelson and former chancellor of the exchequer Nigel Lawson.
