A tasting table

When is a shop not a shop? When wine merchant Tony Laithwaite opens it. Located in Fenchurch Street, Laithwaite’s Tasting Table is claimed to be a throwback to the “good old days” when wine merchants laid out a table of wines for potential buyers to try. Unlike modern wine shops, you won’t leave carrying anything, as Laithwaites insist on delivering the wine. The table will offer 10 bottles of wine, champagne and whisky to taste.
