Win! A luxury spa mini-break in Corwnall

A two-night stay at the stylish Cornwall Hotel Spa & Estate awaits one lucky reader and guest

Dramatic coastline, sandy beaches, golf courses and gourmet delights – they're all within easy reach of The Cornwall Hotel Spa & Estate set in 43 acres of woodland and parkland at Tregorrick, near St Austell.

With the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, the picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey and Charlestown beach on the doorstep, a rewarding short break is on the cards.

The four-star hotel's accommodation is split into two sections – nine sumptuous suites and bedrooms in The White House, a restored 19th century manor house with period features such as shuttered sash windows and vintage fireplaces. Guests are spoilt with contemporary touches including large, modern four-poster beds, flat-screen TVs, WiFi and spacious bathrooms.

The house links at the back to 56 stylish Woodland Rooms, built to blend in with the parkland beyond. All rooms here are south-facing offering maximum light and glorious views over the Pentewan Valley. Guests can unwind in the Clearing Spa, housed in converted stables.

There are treatment rooms offering Aromatherapy Associates products, a sauna, steam room and an infinity pool with views of a secret walled garden. After a day exploring the countryside, you can sample the superb food at the hotel's Acorns brasserie and its fine-dining restaurant, The Arboretum – you might just be tempted to stay here.

The prize, worth £1,000, includes a two-night stay in a White House suite with one three-course dinner for two and breakfast both mornings. The winner and guest will also be treated to a half-hour spa and a two-hour sailing trip with Pentewan Sailing. What better way to escape the pressures of modern life?
