Eccleston Square Hotel

Eccleston Square Hotel, a £6.5m renovation of a Georgian townhouse in Pimlico, central London, is pushing the boundaries of in-room technology. The hotel, due to open this month, claims it is the first in Europe to offer an iPad 2 as a standard room feature. Guests in its 39 rooms will be able to control the temperature, open and shut curtains, and even make a restaurant or spa booking by touching the screen.
