Big business takes over the small screen in a must-see season on BBC2
Make sure you have the monopoly on the TV remote in your household this month – an impressive line-up of documentaries about the world of money, profit and regulation is taking over the schedules on BBC2.
The Business Moment season features a wealth of authored investigations and in-depth interviews and gets underway with Ian Hislop's When Bankers Were Good, which will bring historical context to the current image of bankers by looking at attitudes to morality and money in the 19th century.
Also check the listings this month for Mark Zuckerberg: Inside Facebook, featuring a rare interview with the social networking billionaire; Peter Jones – How We Made Our Millions in which the Dragon explores the plump-pocketed world of high-end business; and Your Money And How They Spend It, which sees BBC political editor Nick Robinson investigate the way politicians raise and spend public money.
The season will continue in December with The Party's Over – How The West Lost The War of Globalisation, presented by BBC News business editor Robert Peston, and a welcome screening of Inside Job, the Oscar-winning film about the global financial meltdown narrated by Matt Damon.
It's hard to recall a weightier collection of programmes about global business on TV in recent times. Don't let that remote out of your sight.
