Guess what? You, too, can be a millionaire if you want it enough and you're prepared to take action to make it happen. All you need is the get-up-and-go to... get up and go. That, in brief, is the somewhat crude message in this latest of Taylor's Naked books.
here his initial offering, The Naked Leader, offered something fresh, this feels a bit stale. If you want money, power, and influence, well, you're not going to find them in a book. Taylor himself admits as much. All you need to do is, well, sort of get on with being wealthy, powerful and influential.
Thinking of yourself as this sort of person is apparently half the journey towards achieving these things. Buried here and there in The Naked Millionaire are nuggets and several inspirational, self-help motivational tips.
But, all in all, this seems a cynical exercise. Taylor himself seems to be aware of how ludicrous some of his advice is. In the introduction, he acknowledges that most business self-help books end up unread. You could do yourself a favour by not buying this one in the first place.
