From 1 September Eurostar will introduce Standard Premier—a "mid-class" offering to replace its Leisure Select service. It is aimed at the "cost-conscious" business traveller and leisure passengers who want extra space and service. Tickets will be semi-flexible, which means they are refundable with a deduction of 15 per cent of the full value, or the outstanding ticket value if one part of a journey has already been made. Travellers will be offered a light meal and magazines.
