The Langham hotel, a London landmark since Victorian times, has undergone a major facelift. The £80m refurbishment includes a new entrance on Portland Place, 380 guest rooms and suites and 15 function rooms, including the restored Grand Ballroom. Often cited as the birthplace of the afternoon tea, the imposing Palm Court also gets a new look. In all it's a dignified update for one of London's grand hotels.
