American Airlines has hired the Queen's former chef, Darren McGrady, to give its premium-class menus the regal touch. McGrady, who spent 15 years in royal kitchens, is offering business and first-class passengers on flights between Europe and the US "quintessential British fare". So expect signature dishes such as chicken stuffed with Cumberland sausage and beef fillet with morel mushroom sauce.
