Dubai hospitality group Jumeirah is opening its fifth European hotel
in Glasgow. The Jumeirah Glasgow Hotel, which is due to be finished in 2011, will boast an infinity pool, spa, gym, rooftop cocktail lounge and a 630-seat ballroom. The building is being designed by Ian Simpson Architects and will be in the city's financial services district. As well as 160 rooms, the hotel will offer 85 serviced apartments for longer stays.
